FILM & MUSIC

Learning about music and how it take place in music during the film. Music can express the mood in the movie , telling the audience that the scene is scary, funny, sad and gloomy.
Music take huge part in the movie letting us know that intro of the movie or the ending.

Jaws
Our class watch the movie jaws and we notice how the music was playing in the scene with the shark attacking the swimmer. Music started off slow and hard , like object was coming closer to the human. As the shark got closer music start to speed up and get louder like a thrill of excitement. Showing horror of a shark attack and victim getting chew up by the shark.

Movie in class (smh)

MOVIE HAD ME ZZZZZZZ

Im going to be honest about this movie in class. This movie was so confusing in class like i was really was lost the whole time. 1.Don't know the title of the movie and the movie was black n white. 2.The guy seem like he was accused of a murder that he did not do. 3.Running away with this women being handcuffed to her the whole night.

(laughing) you can never play long black and white film with out students falling asleep during it or ditch class and come back at the last minute.  Other intro was fine but this one had me like you know we were not paying attention.

WEEK1

Studies of "A TRIP TO THE MOON"1902

First week of class we learn the history of movies in American that was "The silent era".
The learning of invention of photography, creating moving pictures and operated coin box.
That displayed the first copyrighted film April 14, 1894 - "The Sneeze". Also led to french theater magician that created the movie "A Trip to the Moon".

The film was the 1st science fiction film that uses animation and special effects.
The film was based on a group of astronomers who travel to the moon in a cannon like object and explore the moon surface. Their were monster that the group of astronomers had to fight to get back on earth. The movie had dramatic music playing to express emotions and movements in the movie because it was a silent film. The movie was very funny to me on how the astronomer were so goofy before shooting into cannon to get the moon.
